The audible axiom is the musical postulate that we all take for granted. It is self-evident; in a word, it is unexplainable - and that is why we take it taken for granted. It is the sound you love, it is the sound you hate; it is the sound that makes us all tap our feet and squint our eyes and shake our heads and dance - and it is audible.
